"If the Swedish guy is having high end problems, there's something wrong with the room, his measurements, his test equipment, or the speakers.
The HG3's do not roll off sharply around 13 to 14 KHz. The tweeters are very flat to around 19 Khz. Using some speaker manufacturers tolerances, I could have claimed 30 Hz to 20 KHz, but I tried to accurately portray what the speakers really put out.
If the Swedish guy is having high end problems, there's something wrong with the room, his measurements, his test equipment, or the speakers. Some early speakers went out with the wrong feedback resistor for the cylinder amp, but that would affect both the tweeter AND the mid-range speaker.
The High and Mid knobs are just volume controls for their speakers; they raise or lower the overall level for each of the cylinder speakers."
