Adam Audio announce A Series loudspeakers

The ADAM Audio A Series delivers highly accurate, transparent sound across a full line of monitors that can be controlled remotely and in real time. Comprising five models, the A4V, A7V, A44H, A77H and A8H are the right fit for an array of professional and home studios — as well as broadcast, fixed-installation, 3D, immersive, and home audio environments. Innovations such as rotatable HPS waveguide technology, and DSP-based room correction and voicings enable users to tune speakers for their room and ears.

The compact but powerful A4V is best suited to smaller studio environments, while the A7V continues the success story of ADAM Audio’s most famous monitor, the A7X. With the other three new monitors, ADAM Audio is breaking new ground in this price range: The A44H offers a low-profile alternative to the A7V while delivering similar performance characteristics. With a 19-inch width, the horizontally oriented A44H can sit in a standard rack shelf or be mounted above or below a screen. An advanced successor to the A77X, the true three-way A77H is a loudspeaker that capitalizes on the latest ADAM Audio technologies to deliver a rich, spacious, and enveloping sound. The pinnacle of the A Series, the A8H is also a three-way design with a different form-factor that delivers the extremely accurate and analytical sound required for critical-listening environments.

A4V
QUALITY COMPACTED

Designed for small studio spaces, short listening distances and immersive multi-speaker configurations, the A4V delivers accurate, full-bodied sound in a compact form factor. This two-way speaker incorporates a 4-inch long-throw woofer made from the same Multi-Layer Mineral (MLM) fibers as other A Series speakers plus the classic X-ART tweeter. Onboard DSP-based tuning capabilities let you easily dial in the perfect sound for your space. With a frequency range of 53 Hz to 42 kHz, the A4V can accommodate a broad spectrum of audio applications—from producing podcasts to mixing string quartets—and will fit well within immersive and 3-D setups.

A7V
A NEW INDUSTRY STANDARD

The A Series A7V speaker represents the evolution of ADAM Audio’s best-selling, award- winning A7X. The two-way A7V combines a new 7-inch woofer built from Multi-Layer Mineral (MLM) fibers and ADAM Audio’s handmade precision X-ART tweeter to deliver a wide frequency range of 41 Hz to 42kHz. Rotatable HPS waveguide technology and onboard DSP-based tuning options enable you to optimize the sound of the A7V for your precise room requirements and sonic preferences. For many artists, mixers, and producers, the A7V will be the sweet spot in the A Series line.

HIGH STANDARDS, LOW PROFILE

The A44H offers a low-profile alternative to the A Series A7V while delivering similar performance characteristics. With a 19-inch width, the horizontally oriented A44H can sit on a standard rack shelf or be mounted above or below a display. The completely new design also enables the A44H to serve as a center speaker in immersive and 3-D speaker configurations. Dual 4-inch long-throw woofers and the X-ART tweeter deliver a wide frequency range, while onboard DSP-based tuning capabilities enable you to tweak the sound easily.

NOTHING COMPARES

An advanced successor to the A77X, the A Series A77H is a true three-way midfield monitor that capitalizes on the latest ADAM Audio technologies to deliver a rich, spacious, and enveloping sound. Incorporating two 7-inch woofers, a midrange driver, and ADAM Audio’s X-ART tweeter, the A77H delivers an ultra-wide frequency range. The addition of the midrange driver helps produce clear sound in the most sensitive range of human hearing. Rotatable HPS waveguide technology and onboard DSP allow you to tune the sound for your precise requirements.

The A8H incorporates an 8-inch resonant Multi-Layer Mineral (MLM) fiber woofer, innovative midrange driver, and handmade precision X-ART tweeter, which together produce an ultra-wide frequency response. Like the other members of the A Series family, the A8H gives you tremendous flexibility for fine-tuning the sound through rotatable HPS waveguide technology and onboard DSP.
