Absolut bästa gitarrupphängningsanordningen?

Jag har nu mejlat både Hercules och K&M frågan om de har några hängare som säkert kan användas

Jag har kört med vanliga hängare från K&M (Min län16280k) i många år utan problem, inga märken alls på någon av gitarrerna pavsett lack.

Herculeshängaren som länkas till ovan funkar bra på känsliga lacker.

Jag har haft såna i över ett år nu utan problem, både till min gamla Strata och min nyare Les Paul med nitrocellulosalack.

Det finns en modell med två små armar som låser gitarren så att den inte kan ramla ner. Har sett den på gitarren i Göteborg. Funderar på att byta ut mina i verkstan. Åke Gitarrmakaren

Nej. Den rekommenderas INTE till nitrocellulosalack, det står ju till och med angivet i produktbeskrivningen!!

Vidare så går det säkert bra att hänga gitarren något år utan problem, det ser man överallt på forum. Och oftast så slutar det med att någon som varit med ett tag berättar om hur deras gitarrer blivit förstörda. Det är sett över tid som problemen uppstår. Man kan ju vänta och se om det händer, eller så kan man försöka göra åtgärder för att vara på den säkra sidan, vilket passar mig bättre.

Jag har fått svar från K&M. De har ingen produkt som är säker för långtidsanvändning:

Min fråga var "Is there any K&M Guitar Wall Mount which is perfectly safe to use with a nitrocellulose laquer guitar?"

Svaret från K&M:

"The problem with the nitrocellulose lacquer is quite popular but nearly not avoidable with any surface of guitar wall mounts we or any other manufacturer use. Nevertheless you won't have any problems if you don't put the guitar on the wall mount for a too long period and under direct solar irradiation.

Dom verkar ha väldigt bra funktion. Jag skulle gärna köpa likadana. Men de rekommenderas INTE till gitarrer med nitrocellulosalack, läs i den här produktbeskrivningen hos Thomann.

Hercules själva garderar sig med följande formulering: "Guitar manufacturers employ differing types of finishes and finishing techniques. Please refer to your owner's manual for information regarding proper storage of your instrument."

Guitar Grip hävdar att deras hängare "Won't harm nitrocellulose finishes". Men de kör också med nåt svart gummimaterial så jag tar den uppgiften med en nypa salt. Jag mejlar dem och kollar vad de har för belägg för detta påstående.

Nu har jag också fått svar från Hercules:

"As there are many concerns towards the unique nitro lacquer finish, HERCULES had taken many experiments on the foam we use and is proud to find the foam works with 98% of the guitars on the market without reaction to the finish.

 

During the research and development process of the HERCULES foam, many tests were done on instruments with various lacquers, including nitrocellulose lacquer. These experiences included subjecting the instruments on the stand to heat, cold and normal temperatures for periods of up to six months. All of the tests conducted by the factory showed that the foam was non-reactive to the various finish.

 

However, it is also true that there is not just one formula of lacquer in use today. Each manufacturer and supplier has their own variation, which mixes different proportions of the chemicals involved. There are literally thousands of different variations of lacquer in use today, making it impossible to test them all. As a result, while HERCULES can say that the testing shows the foam should be acceptable for these finishes, we cannot offer an absolute guarantee because of given variable finish on the market. Therefore, to provide your valuable guitars with the best support, we recommend you to refer to the instrument manufacturer's owner's manual for information regarding the proper storage for your instrument.

 

If you are concerned about the possible reaction of your instrument with the foam, one option for you would be to wrap the foam in a natural cloth (such as cotton) to avoid direct contact with the instrument. This step should minimize the chance of interaction with the finish."
