HJÄLP MED FIREWIREKORT till LAPTOP

Hi .

I recently bought a laptop (HP Compaq nc8000 Notebook PC)

I'm not able to install my Hercules 16/12 firewire soundcard.

Seems like the laptop can't find the devices.

First of all, the dialog boxes keep dissapearing and every time i finnish the intsallation it says "Device not found" in the control panel.

One time I got the message "kod 10 -can not start device" (or something like that)

I've tried with the new 2007 drivers but that does not work either.

what is wrong ... It worked with my other computer and it has the same operating system (windows xp proffesional service pack 2)

please help me asap, so I can return the computer if this does not work out !

Du får skaffa en annan firewireport. Det måste vara ett texas instruments chip i firewiremodulen om det ska funka bra med ljudkort. Skaffa ett cardbus eller express card-kort med firewireportar, se till a det är texas instruments-chipset i det bara.

Hur inaktiverar jag det integrerade ljudkortet i bios ?

hittar inget om ljud. det borde ju ju finnas i "Advanced" - "Device Option"

men ikke sa nikke
