Reason tips - Surface Locking

Jag hittade av en slump Surface Locking i Reason.

Detta var en cool feature om man har flera Controllers inkopplade

(Pryttlar på USB porten)

Från manualen:

"Surface Locking...

This opens a dialog where you can lock a control surface to a specific device.

This means that the locked device is always "tweakable", regardless of which track has MIDI input in the sequencer. This enables you to play and record notes for one device and at the same time control parameters for another device from a control surface.

For example, you could lock a control surface to control the main mixer, so you can always control overall levels while playing/tweaking other devices."

Fantastisk feature! Om man nu gillar att tweaka mycket i Reason.

om ja förstår de rätt, finns alltså möjligheten att tweaka reason med multipla kontrollytor i realtid!?

Njaej, flera klaviaturer går inte att koppla in för användande i sequencern samtidigt, däremot kan du ha flera Control Surfaces, med rattar och reglar, för att spela in automation på flera spår samtidigt. Exempelvis kan man ha en Mackie Control låst till mixern via funktionen som drloop tipsar om, och samtidigt ha en klaviatur som följer keyboard focus.
