Hello

As we approach 2025; the digital audio workstation (DAW) landscape continues to evolve with advancements in AI, cloud integration & real-time collaboration tools. While DAWs like Ableton Live, Logic Pro, and Pro Tools dominate the market, we’re seeing a shift in how music production is becoming more accessible, collaborative & automated. What innovations or trends do you think will define the future of DAWs?😇

I’m particularly interested in how AI-powered features could transform the workflow for producers, such as automatic mixing, mastering, or even composition. Additionally; with the rise of cloud-based DAWs; there seems to be a push towards more collaborative environments.

Do you think this will replace the traditional model of isolated studio work, or will both coexist?😇  How might these advancements impact the quality of music production, especially for independent artists who lack high-end studio access?🤔Checked https://www.studio.se/forums/forum/2-diskussioner/Power BI course resources, and found it quite informative.

Lastly, I’d love to hear what underutilized features in current DAWs you think will become more mainstream in the coming years. For instance; the potential of immersive 3D audio or improved integration with virtual instruments could be huge. Are there any emerging DAWs or plugins you're excited about that may push the industry forward?🤔

Thank you !!🙂

In Asia, particularly in China, hides and animal skins have traditionally played a crucial role in the making of drums and other musical instruments. For instance, the Chinese "dizi" drums often use cow or sheep hides. The skin is carefully treated and stretched over a wooden frame to create a resonant surface that produces distinct sounds. In other regions of Asia, such as Japan and India, similar practices are observed with instruments like the "taiko" drums and "tabla". The selection of the animal skin, its thickness, and the treatment process significantly influence the instrument's acoustic qualities, making each piece unique.

But! (and this is important)....Traditional drums will continue to be important in future music making due to their unique sound and cultural significance, enhancing the authenticity and variety of musical compositions. However, the use of digital tools and electronic drum kits might grow as technology advances, offering more options for musicians.
